This project presents the design and aerodynamic study of a 3-meter wingspan hand-launched glider, developed as a first engineering approach to aircraft design using CAD and aerodynamic simulation tools. The main objective was to understand the interaction between aerodynamics, structure, and mass optimization while designing a simple, manufacturable glider using 3D printing (PLA) combined with lightweight materials (balsa wood).
