4th axis support for the FABtotum · 模型 180035
This is a support to attach the 4th axis of the FABtotum on top of the structure to make feeder tests. It provides: - a shorter bowden tube from feeder to head. - a slightly more stable structure than having it with adhesive tape (see fotos). - full permanent access to the "feeder engage button". It is based on the published STEP files imported in FreeCAD. The source is available. It is designed to accomodate a M6 nut/bolt pair. But it might not be "mandatory" (it provides stability). There are two versions. One open (with slot to insert the nut) and one closed. I printed the closed one and managed to put the 0.5 mm M6 nut inside through the 0.3 mm wide slot, by flexing a little bit the walls of the slot. I printed it in PLA without support. If this is not fine for you, you have the open one (or nevertheless you have the FreeCAD files to tweek it to your taste).
