This is a fully functional 6-DOF robotic arm designed for hobby robotics, prototyping, and Arduino-based automation projects. The arm is capable of handling approximately 750 g payload at the gripper in a stable position. The design uses a combination of servos chosen for strength and smooth control: 4 × MG995 servos for wrist articulation and the gripper mechanism 4 × CyS-S2818 high-torque servos for the shoulder and elbow joints to handle heavier loads and provide improved positioning under stress To improve mechanical reliability, the base joint is supported using a ball bearing system, ensuring smooth rotation and reducing axial wear over time. The elbow joint includes a gear reduction mechanism designed to increase torque and eliminate radial loading on the servo shafts, improving durability and long-term stability. This project is intended to be modular, repairable, and 3D-printer friendly, making it suitable for DIY robotics, student projects, automation experiments, and motion-control programming.
