This model was designed as a simple test platform for traffic management on a roller conveyor. The goal was to control an 80 cm conveyor section, including start/stop behavior and tote acceleration. After this initial design, three further iterations were developed, which eventually led to the final Active Drum Motor design using a brushless motor.
