This bird house is made from cedar fence boards. I have a planner so I am able to mill the boards to 1/2" (after drying). The 1/8" holes are for layout of nail positions. A screw is placed at the bottom of the door for a hinge. A diagonal hole is drilled in the side to keep the door closed and opened for cleaning. See pdf's for drawings.
