The sensor is designed to stop a conveyor or other equipment driven by a metal cable that runs along the conveyor. When the cable is affected at any point along the conveyor, the sensor issues a signal to stop the conveyor. The sensor operates in two directions, cables coming from opposite directions are attached to the lever from above and from below to the eyes. After the sensor is triggered, the working position is manually set using the appropriate lever.
