Custom-Fit Cardboard Spool Adapter for eSUN · 模型 129225
I designed this cardboard spool adapter for eSUN filament after starting to use the Qidi Q2 Combo printer. The Combo includes a filament case that accepts cardboard spools, but placing the filament directly inside the case can cause problems. I initially tried several spool models downloaded from the internet, however, the inner diameter of the cardboard spools was too small, resulting in a loose fit and poor fixation. It appears that eSUN cardboard spools have dimensional variations, so I measured the actual spool I am using and designed a custom-fit adapter specifically for it. This model was measured, designed, and tested with my own eSUN cardboard spool. The adapter was printed in PLA, which has proven sufficient for normal filament handling. If your eSUN cardboard spool dimensions differ, you may need to scale or modify the model slightly. I hope this design is helpful for others using cardboard spools with enclosed filament cases.
