Deutsch Connector Flexible Boots / Backshells · 模型 76902
These are boots for sealing the wire sides of some TE DTM/DT or Amphenol ATM/AT connectors against dust. THEY MUST BE PRINTED IN TPU TO WORK! These do not seal against water, oil, fuel, coolant etc unless used with Raychem epoxy inside both ends. However, they provide excellent strain relief, protection against dust/particle ingress, and medium, periodic moisture. Please check that the connector you are attempting to install these on matches the part number in the .stp exactly. These are not interchangeable between different styles of housings. The cable diameter for the 8-pin boots is 0.3333 inch. The cable diameter for the 2-pin boots is 0.25 inch. Depending on the flexibility of your filament, these diameters can be fit over larger bundle diameters up to around 3mm over. Depending on the TPU filament you use, you may have trouble installing them. I recommend 2 things: Select a filament with a Shore D hardness rating of 40A if possible. For hardness above 40A, use a rubber lubricant such as Wurth Rubber Care when installing the boots.
