This direct-acting, pilot relief cartridge incorporates back-to-back check valves. This allows it to remotely control 2 other pilot-operated valves or act as a thermal relief for both ends of an actuator. Because capacity is limited to pilot flow, this valve should be used with other valves with comparable pilot flows. The back-to-back check valves prevent cross talk between the two valves that are being remote controlled. One adjustment controls two valves. Check cracking pressure is 15 psi (1 bar). Pressure at port 3 is directly additive to the valve setting. Suitable for load holding applications The term thermal relief means it prevents overpressure due to thermal expansion of the fluid. Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
