The Flexible Recyclable Microbial bioReactor (FRMR) is a simple bioreactor which can be 3D printed from copolyester plastic, meeting all safety, durability, efficacy, and volume requirements as set out in the NASA "3D Printable Bioreactor for Deep Space Food Production" challenge. For more details on how the bioreactor meets the challenge requirements, please inspect "FRMR Description.pdf". The photos above are of a low-fidelity ergonomic test model, which I used to ensure that the device was easy to handle, and do not represent the print quality of the production device.
