The full assembly of a STHIL039 Chainsaw, fully detailed and measured. The assembly contains every core part of the machine. The names of all sub-assemblies are listed at the bottom of the description. You can find drawings of some assemblies that I was inspired by and wanted to give some special attention to ^^ The chainsaw contained a multitude of parts that required looking up and learning about special manufacturing methods. While the emphasis was put on making the model stable, it provided an amazing medium for learning about machine design. Since this started as a university project, documentation was made for the structural stability of the chain links, and the driveshaft assembly as well. I also had a lot of fun experimenting with motion studies as well! I uploaded a gif version of the animation I liked the most. You can find that in the "Gallery" folder, so check it out if you're interested ^^ I used the same resources as I listed in my "Fully Detailed STHIL039 Partial Drive Chain" model, but this time I also used a path for manipulating camera movement, which I think made it a lot more dynamic.
