This project (https://grabcad.com/library/gear-rack-mechanism-release-1) was developed to participate in NASA's "Let It Go: After Latching" (https://grabcad.com/challenges/let-it-go-after-latching) challenge. The authors of this work are Nicolás Quintanilla (https://grabcad.com/nicolas.quintanilla-1) and myself (https://grabcad.com/franco.pizarro-1) . We are students from the Faculty of Exact Sciences, Engineering, and Surveying (FCEIA) at the National University of Rosario (UNR) in Argentina and the reason for carrying out this work was presented not only as a work of the subject Synthesis of Mechanisms and Machines (directed by Marcelo Valderrey (https://grabcad.com/marcelo.valderrey-1)) but also as a contribution to this great community.
