How to mill a radial slot in a tube · 模型 25563
This model is an example of how to create a radial slot in a tube using OpenSCAD. This is in response to a question from Lars regarding our Cargo Croozer bike trailer hitch. The actual part was made using a milling machine and an indexing head. The OpenSCAD code in some ways explains the process except it is moving the tool +/- 30 degrees whereas in the mill the tool is vertical and the indexing head rotates the tube +/- 30 degrees.
