Have a Logitech C925e webcam but really want to put an optical filter on it? You've got glare? Add a CP (circular polarization) filter to knock that down. Fluorescent lighting in your workplace cubefarm making you look like you have scurvy? Just add a FLD filter (or maybe eat an orange occasionally.) 52mm and 55mm adapters are provided, because those sizes are readily available, and that's what I have on my SLR. Filters pretty much just snap in, and they work pretty well. The whole assembly just slides onto the webcam from the side. Re: assembly - there are no threads in the socket. The filter's threads will bite into the plastic well enough to grab, and the ring flexes enough to provide retention pressure. You can assemble by placing the filter on a flat surface and just pressing down firmly on the housing- it'll click into place and then bottom-out on the filter's body.
