AUV design for MantaClaus. First runner up at SAUVC 2026. Open Source code (with BOM): kushagra77/OpenMantaClaus on github The design includes everything that was on the robot. The gripper mechanism uses a single servo to push a ball out and can have a magnetic gripper attachment to pick the ball back up. I have included the magnetic ball design as well as my magnetic gripper (it was attached with a string on a GoPro mount which is not included). I also included the models I used to create custom MantaClaus Tshirts. They were printed using red TPU and ironed onto a 100% cotton polo shirt. Note: It is recommended to cut down the total stainless steel area by about half depending on your specific design requirements, the original version would require some foam to achieve neutral buoyancy.
