Didn't find a good vise for a small 3 axis CNC machine with minimal spindle to column clearance so I designed and made 2 of these. 4 inch jaw width for standard accessories. All parts machined from ductile iron. Uses VersaGrip jaws for op 1 and hardened SnapJaws or aluminum soft jaws for op 2. Can use pins to fix the front jaw, or remove them to clamp your part at any Y axis position (not self-centering). Reversible jaw design for better utilization of soft jaws and more versagrip options. Has a relatively low bed height of 2 in for minimal Z travel loss.
