I retrofitted an old paint roller with a simple pair of convertible sleeves I designed to accommodate filament spools with either 2" or 2-3/4" center holes. Now my filament comes off the roll as slick as a coat of paint! I added a corner brace for additional support. ****When printing the corner brace- Be sure to use filament with a little flex to it to allow for an easy snap fit. FYI-The corner brace is designed to fit over 7mm diameter rod. Some paint rollers may differ.
