Panda Known as “Bing Dwen Dwen” 🐼 I didn’t notice if this was challenging, because every time I saw this panda, it reminded me of my old panda bear stuffed toy 😅. It gave me a really chill vibe while working on it. Overall, this was an educational project, and I’m grateful I took it on. For those who ask if SolidWorks can handle organic shapes or even stuffed toys, yes, it can! It is just not commonly used that way, which is why people often recommend software like Blender, since it feels easier for organic work. But honestly, the “best” software depends on the situation: If the deadline is short, stick with the software you already know. If you have more time, explore other tools and compare. If you are collaborating, consider compatibility so others can access the files. This project took me 197 hours (yep, a lot! 😂). I built Bing Dwen Dwen in multiple parts because I added another plastic layer over him, which you can see in the model. Time really flew on this one. Credits Workflow: Toukou Design I’ve always wanted to reach 100 models. Back then, I didn’t know what the “next one” would be, but finally I made it. Reaching 100 taught me that modeling has a lot more to offer; there is always something new to learn. That is why I love creating and designing. On to the next one and many more to go 🙂
