Ventilator design based on the use of peristaltic pumps to move and meter both air and oxygen. Manometers are used to monitor pressures and flow rates. These are paired with optical interrupts which provide feedback for motor control and alarms. These sensors can be moved along the manometer to adjust operating setpoints.
