After having carried out a more in-depth study on limb amputations superior, evidence that one of the main losses that people suffer are amputations of fingers and hands, with the particularity that the loss in most cases is partial and not total, leaving a remnant of hand and fingers. In the industry, most prosthetic developments focus on amputations for above the wrist, being insufficient for cases of partial amputation. Therefore, in the last ten years a large number of companies have emerged that aim to development of prostheses that can satisfy the need for this type of cases, which are still in full development, currently enhanced with innovation in manufacturing of pieces with 3D printing technology and, with the survey of the amputated limb through the 3D scanning.
