Prosthetic/Robotic Arm · 模型 195252
Designer Name- Shreyash Royzada. College Name- National Institute of Technology, Raipur. Project Description- The robotic arm made here can be used with motors as well as with manual controls also. It is an innovative design that will help anyone in need of a limb replacement. It can also be used as a device helping medical professionals tackle patients without physical contact. This will be a highly beneficial device in such situations and in the current COVID pandemic. It will save many lives of the medical servicemen. The full assembly as well as the working Kinematics video of the design is included. The parts are modular and the dimensions can be designed as per requirements. Here I took my hand as a reference while designing the arm. The arm has full degree of motion ans will be controlled by small servo inside the main unit. There will be thread like wires running through each hole in each part of the fingers. This wire/thread will be rolled or released when the user wants and this will be controlled using a servo motor. The system is simple this 3D implementation will ensure wide usage of this design and will help a lot of people. Material and Manufacturing- I am a beginner to 3D Printing and I don't have access to a 3D printer hence I was not able to produce the design in real life. I used a slicing software to check the credibility and check if my designs can be manufactured using 3D printing. I am happy to say that they sure can be manufactured. The material I selected for this task is the classis FDM as I am a beginner and I wanted to start with the basics. All the parts will be manufactured separately and will be assembled together into one piece once the printing is completed.
