I have designed these K-Frame Adaptor mounts to go from aProton Jumbuck vehicle to the K-Frame pulled out of a Nissan eNV200 Van to do an EV Conversion utilising the whole K-Frame, Steering Rack, and Suspension complete from the Van. Design is to call for a bit of overkill using 16-20mm plate, which is very heavy duty, but makes up some of the gap between the mounting heights of the components with something a little more structural than your typical rubber bushing used to make up discrepancies. The speed holes in the rear mount are more about weight saving than any practical purpose, the rear mount could actually be 2 individual pieces, but for ease of installation and ensuring that everything is true as it is bolted up, it's a much easier datum when installing to allow you to take datum measurements from and ensure parallel installation. The design is focused around an individual being able to take these parts, cut them out, and do an EV conversion in their own home, which means that everything to make the life of an individual installer as opposed to a professional installer easier, is a much better approach to the target market. Update 22/09/2021: I have now added the DXF Files that you can download to have these sent off to a sheet metal cutting place or to have templates made out of timber. Additionally I have added a PDF with Cutting Dimensions and a template that you can use to trace the parts around for manual manufacturing. These need to be printed on A0 sized paper.
