The box, as provided has front and rear flanges for attaching to the top of the spline. Not an ideal solution. The cable nuts are welded in place so the only way to adjust is to rotate the entire cable which is impossible when the cables are routed. Finally, the box is too high. I welded on feet that straddle the spine so the box can be attached to the floor. I replaced the cable tubes with angle brackets so that nuts can be placed on either side. I notched the front 1/4" and the back 1/2" to lower the shifter and make it more comfortable.
