Version 3 has improved retaining ring threads. A rib has been added to the housing so that if the elbow is not used, there is something for the hose to grab on to. You may need to scale the housing to fit the hole in your dash. Then scale the eyeball to fit the housing. You might also need to scale the retaining ring if the threads are too loose or tight. There is a hole in the back side of the eyeball to insert a #10 screw to limit the eyeball rotation. The elbow probably needs to be modified to work with the RCR provided plenum. The tab on the elbow is for printing. It breaks off easily.
