this is my second attempt, I took in consideration the comments from the previous model, so I concealed the fixing screws for the base, adopt a thread fixing for the top outer cover, the lever is now rotating and has two functions, to close and open the vent as well as to adjust the opining, by using a stepped cam. When the vent is fully closed, a red marker is exposed. The top cover is illustrated as one piece but can be constructed from two pieces for ease of fabrication. the vent holes are under the top cover to prevent dirt ingress and at the bottom there are draining holes.
