SinuCore HX · 模型 57313
This cryogenic heat exchanger was designed by a group of mechanical engineering students from the National University of Rosario (UNR), Argentina, as part of a practical assignment for the Machine and Mechanism Synthesis course, under the guidance of Professor https://grabcad.com/marcelo.valderrey-1. The design is based on a series of parallel sinusoidal plates, with internal grooves through which one fluid flows. The second fluid circulates on the outside of the plates and between them, facilitating efficient heat exchange through extensive surface contact and indirect interaction. The model was conceived for additive manufacturing, utilizing the geometric freedom of the process to precisely integrate internal channels without the need for assembly. This approach not only enhances thermal efficiency but also reduces mass and construction complexity. The material selected is Alloy 2.0966 (CuNi30Mn1Fe), chosen for its excellent performance in cryogenic environments, corrosion resistance, and thermal conductivity, making it well-suited for heat transfer applications at low temperatures. This project was developed by the following team members: https://grabcad.com/elian.manieri-1 https://grabcad.com/martin.mori-1 https://grabcad.com/gonzalo.silva-8 We would like to extend our special thanks to Professor https://grabcad.com/marcelo.valderrey-1. for his guidance, commitment to teaching, and for encouraging our participation in this valuable project.
