A model - developed by me - of a SPINNING TOP with 6 hexagonal parts on 6 bolts, for using this design to get two random results like two dice results with one throw. The 6 hexagonal parts rotate about the y-axis of the spinning top and about their own bearing axis, when touching the ground. My construction may be comparable with components on a chain carousel. In place of six chains I used six bolts. In place of the 6 hexagonal components you can use also 6 hexagonal nuts (M8). A 3D printed prototype has already successfully been tested. Random results have been shown even on a rougher wooden surface. The model is available in the STEP (.stp)- and STL (.stl) format. Dice numbers with a height of 5 mm are available in the (.pdf) format, for printing out, cutting using a scissor and placing them by glueing on.
