This is a twist-on symmetrical clamp. The two pieces are identical - but twisted on in opposite directions and then pressed together, they will lock into each other and should provide for a fairly strong mounting base. When printed with the flat side on the bed, no support is required and the filament direction will provide the highest strength for the direction of pull.
