Atlanta Beats Covid (ABC) has been working on a reusable and sanitizable plastic/rubber mask to serve as a temporary stop-gap for disposable N95s under the caveat that they are not NIOSH-approved, although they can fit a wide range of proven 95% PFE filter media (particle filtration efficiency). This design seeks to fit a wide variety of face geometries through a conformal silicone rubber seal that is house inside a plastic shell. Due to the requirement for a seal with complex geometry, and the need to manufacture in high volumes, this design is primarily intended for molding and casting, although the plastic shells can be 3D printed. Your manufacturing efforts will be comprised of making 6 components; 2 silicone rubber parts (a seal for the face and a gasket for the filter medium), 2 plastic parts (inner and outer shell), and 2 elastic management parts.
