Tissue Box Holder | SolidWorks Surfacing I was a bit hesitant to share this model at first. I used to work with Amazon products, and this one looked like it came straight from e‑commerce. After checking, I found it was indeed sold online, but it was already out of stock across the sites I visited. I assume it has been phased out. The reference itself came from a Reddit forum. https://www.reddit.com/r/SolidWorks/comments/1qzikkp/how_to_design_this_cartoonish_gloveboot_for_this/ As I worked on it, I realized this kind of product is not really ideal for SolidWorks surfacing. It can be done, but for example, with the hand section, the larger part, and the thumb, I found it difficult to make it look appealing. That even took me 4 attempts just to at least make it looks decent xD. Anyone unfamiliar with surfacing would probably struggle with this type of shape. It feels more suited for freeform software, where you could model the handles and feet, then import them into SolidWorks to scale and build the main body for 3D printing, including the lips, locks, and holes. Reddit has been a big part of my growth in surfacing. Without that community, I would not have discovered people like Andrew Jackson, Mark, and others who taught me techniques even though they were not directly connected to SolidWorks. There are many SolidWorks topics there that you would encounter, but the one thing that got me really into it is surfacing, and while some questions get answers, many do not. To give back, I want to share my files and, when possible, walk through how I created them. My initial goal was to create 100 models using surfacing, but it started to feel stale and boring without a clear intent or sense of helping others. Now, I want to spend my spare time on projects that have not yet been solved. If you are still reading this, thank you for being part of my journey. Until the next model. :)
