The Wetropolis flood demonstrator is a conceptual, live installation showcasing what an extreme rainfall event is and how such an event can lead to extreme flooding of a city. Wetropolis is best experienced live but, second best, please watch the following movies (from 30-08-2016). In this 2018 model a slot has been introduced for testing different surface roughness slabs halfway at the bottom of the channel. The drainage of the area near Leeds (end of the channel) has been changed: a low dike holds water on the flood plain, the slope of this flood plain has changed, the drainage holes have been changed
