All parameters are described in the attached PDF drawing file. Best practice recommendation: All references of the parts are saved in the assembly. If you integrate a single part of the parametric assembly in another design, solid necessarily opens the parametric assembly to retrieve the document data. If you edit the parameters in the root assembly, all linked parts will also change. If you rename the root assembly, parts can't be loaded. For that reason, here are two ways to prevent that issues. 1. Parametric to design split - Edit the parameters as desired - If you need separated model files, save virtual parts as separated files - When done, save all parts in the assembly again as virtual - Break all external references in the part documents - Create a new assembly using the part documents using component relations 2. Copy the assembly and use it only as a whole - Never rename the assembly since all parameters are linked to the original name - If you want to rename the assembly: copy as new - Prevent using components in other designs
