This is the same as one of my previous CNC Router designs (https://grabcad.com/library/parametric-cnc-router-model-5-1) with a single extrusion gantry replacing the two extrusions used on the original model. As with the original, most dimensions are keyed off the X, Y and Z ball screw lengths; change any of those in the user parameter table and the model will update. See the original model description for more details. Updated 4/12/23 to V25 - Increased gantry upright spacer thickness from 5/8" to 16mm so that extrusion lengths will be whole numbers. Also modified FF/FK bearing locations to maintain alignment with ballnut housing. Updated 3/5/23 to V24 - Moved the Z profile rails in 3mm to facilitate removal of X plate from Gantry without having to remove Z profile rails. Updated 3/4/23 to V23 - Added two bolts to each Z Spacer to increase Z Plate stiffness. Added 1/2" threaded holes for all inductive limit switch mounting points and added SketchUp file format. I do not have SketchUp on my PC so if someone would take a look at it and let me know if the conversion looks OK, I'd appreciate it.
